I think they need to get rid of Iverson but it looks like the organization will

I think they need to get rid of Iverson, but it looks like the organization will stick with him.Coach Karl is staying and he feels they need more players rather than having the troublesome Carmelo There have been a few teams rumored as potential suitors. I am going to look at these scenarios. The Pistons may be the most likely team for Carmelo. Joe Dumars wants to build the Pistons and will do all that he can to get Carmelo.A possible trade could be the Nuggets trading the 20th pick, Carmelo, Steven Hunter, and Chucky Atkins for Tayshaun Prince and Chauncy Billups with cash. This would give the Nuggets a point guard they need next to Iverson and a versatile player in Prince. The Pistons get Rodney Stuckey to be the starter and, along with Carmelo, get good back-ups in Atkins and Hunter. This would fit both sides because the Nuggets should become a favorite in the West, while the Pistons will be headed in the direction Dumars wants. With Stuckey, Richard Hamilton, Carmelo, Jason Maxiell, and Rasheed Wallace, the Pistons should get to the Finals. Dumars chose Darko Milicic over Carmelo and would not have the chance to get the right player.Another possibility, and the first team to start the rumors, is the Nets.A possible trade scenario would be the Nuggets trading Carmelo for Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, and the 10th pick. This would make the Nuggets a contender since AI and Jefferson can fit together better of their similar playing styles.Marcus Williams always plays well, but is never given any credit.

He can be a legit starter for the Nuggets. With the 10th pick, the Nuggets could also land a wide variety of players. Why would the Nets want to do this? Well, with Devin Harris, Vince Carter, and Carmelo, this would be the best back court in the NBA. The Bulls could be another team interested in Carmelo. The Bulls would trade the first pick along with Larry Hughes. The Bulls haven’t looked interested, but this trade would be the best monetarily for both sides. The Nuggets can get Derrick Rose to go along with Iverson, giving them a threat as a back court. They also get a perimeter defender in Hughes. The Nuggets may be able to also get Shawn Marion as a free agent so this can help them. The Bulls would not have to wait another couple years to develop another young  talent while Carmelo has already proven himself as an effective player. He can play along side with Luol Deng.I do not think Carmelo should be traded, but from the messages the Nuggets are sending, it looks like he may be gone.

There are many teams interested and the right offer will make a blockbuster trade..                                The 39 year old veteran from New York is on a hot streak this year. Mike “The Moose” Mussina is perhaps having the best year of his life in what could possibly be his last year in the majors. Mussina is 41 games away from the milestone of 300 wins. Almost halfway through the season he is 9-4 in 13 games played with a 4.01 ERA. Mike is showing the stuff he had in thebeginning of his career in Baltmore that has not been shown in a while He is on pace to go 23-10 as of now The Hall Of Fame hopeful has an impressive resume to get in He is a 5 time all-star and has won 6 gold gloves.

His best year yet came in 1995 when he finished with an outstanding 19-1 record.. In one smooth, sweet swing of the bat, Ken Griffey Jr. launched himself further into the baseball history books and solidified his spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. When Junior blasted his 600th career home run on Monday off of Florida Marlins pitcher Mark Hendrickson, Griffey reminded us all why he is still one of the best players in the game today. With the home run, Griffey joined one of the most exclusive clubs in baseball, joining the like of Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, and Sammy Sosa.Unlike the last two players, Griffey achieved his 600 home runs with class. You won’t find Junior’s name in the Mitchell Report, you won’t find it on a federal prosecuter’ssubpoena list, or in the middle of a steroid controversy, perjury charges and federal charges on income tax evasion. When you see the name Ken Griffey Jr., you see one of the greatest hitters of all-time next to it.
